Pointing the Cruiser west

After a decade of chasing tenths, I built something with no clock attached. The 79 and the far side of the country.

Lap times are addictive and exhausting in equal measure. Every weekend is a number, and the number is never quite good enough. The Cruiser is the opposite of that on purpose.

There is no fast version of this build. There is only further. Long-range fuel, somewhere to sleep, recovery gear I hope to never use, and the patience to go slowly through country that does not care if you are in a hurry.

I forgot how big Australia is until I tried to drive across a corner of it. Most of it is not sealed, and most of it is empty, and both of those things turn out to be the appeal.

No data logger on this one. The only metric is whether I made it back wanting to leave again. So far, every time.
